Mission Statement

To provide and open and friendly atmosphere to enjoy the game of Chess and welcome new Members into the Bristol Four Knights family.

This will be achieved with the adoption of the following principles:

• To provide competitive matches and events for Club Players that wish to do so;
• To support the wider Bristol and District League in competitive and friendly play;
• To act as a social hub for members of all ages;
• To develop both adults and juniors in chess, or all capabilities.

Committee Roles

• Appointing team captains;
• Keep all Club Players informed of all business to do with the club;
• Safeguard the financial welfare of the club;
• Safeguarding members;
• Organise AGMs from time-to-time and engage in constructive feedback.
