Another tight match between
Another tight match between the Teams. Again it went down to the last game (on Board 2), where Bournemouth's, Thorsten Meyer just edged it against Jamie Doyle.

A very exciting close match!
This was a very close, tense yet exciting match and after two hours play and three draws (two games were a bit cagey with blocked positions and the top board game was an interesting Q v R +2P ending) it went down to the thrilling final complicated game on board two. Unsurprisingly, it attracted a large audience, mainly from the rest of the players in both teams. Well played to Thorsten Meyer (Bournemouth A) who held his nerve and found a nice queen sacrifice to win the game
