An "oversight" by the NatWest captain meant that the NatWest players thought that this was a Tuesday (rather than Monday) fixture. The resultant default sent reverberations through the competition. Thus NatWest lose their 100% record(s) in the most frustrating way possible. The Ombudsmen, the innocent parties on this occasion, are now 1-1 in defaulted matches.
