From the Insurance Chess Club archive (Kevin Parrott)
An Inter-Office line-up in which Tozer is on Board 2 is, by definition, a strong one. Steve Berry made his Insurance debut with a win. Is this the strongest top 2 boards ever to be fielded in an I-O game? This match was a mortal blow for the Ombudsmen in the Combined race. In the Insurance v Insurance competition, they need to beat Lincoln in their final match by 3½-½ to share the title and 4-0 to win it outright.
