FIRST ROUND DRAW

Format There will be a random draw for each round (the first round draw is shown below). Each match will consist of a pair of Rapidplay games which will be graded. The time control used will be that used in standard Norfolk Rapidplay events of 20m + 10s increment (this should be manual option 26 on the DONS red clocks). In the event of a 1-1 draw after these two games have been played there will be a deciding blitz game played of 3m + 2s increment (option 10 on the digital clocks). If the deciding game is a draw then the tie will go to the lowest rated player (for the first round draw the lower graded player is highlighted in lower case letters below-this is based on the January 2023 rating list and for players without a rapidplay rating a standard rating is used indicated with an 's'). The blitz game will not be graded.
