There were just two games in the ladder last night Dick Meredith playing black fought off a challenge from John Davis and long time top rung of the ladder Alan Weaver, also playing black won his match against John Pellegrini to retain his position on 3rd rung! That was the last night of the old ladder and in the next couple of weeks, Alan will play Peter Przybycin in second place and the winner of that will play Andy Mills currently on top rung. Rob Sims
