Many thanks and a good fight by Ringwood, as friendly and hospitable as ever and every game keenly contested- the result was a lot closer than the score and only clear after the last game was completed. Andy Manning Result agreed. Andy seems to have been very kind in his commentary. On board 5 Tim was probably lost against Richard before a drawn ending was reached. Andrew was always better on board 2 and duly won. Andy on board 3 defeated Adam Ursell the latter having gone unbeaten in the Wesy Sussex league this season and who now has an estimated grade of 160+. Rob H on board 4 ground out a win against Amanda who had chances. The board 1 game was the last to finish and it was probably drawn but Martin decided to try for a win to draw the match and lost. Always a pleasure to host Salisbury. A thoroughly enkoyable evening. Pete Donaldson
