OK, So I have added local ratings based on the boys' Rapid results for boards 2-4 where we have some random partial ratings based on 2-3 fixtures at Standard play.
Match comment & Totnes Board 1
A Duke of Edinburgh briefing evening meant we were unable to field a board 4.
2 juniors on Board 3 with a combined age under 25 produced an 80-move draw by 7:30, at which stage onlookers were at last able to draw breath.
James Allen survived having mate in 2 against him in the middlegame but proceeded to win all his opponent's pieces, while James Trenam-Nash's engine purred into life as he struck down his opponent, who had neglected to castle.
