Longbridge turned up and Walsall Kipping were unable to play the match on the night.

Default of match

Walsall Kipping also turned up on the night. However, the management of the social club had decided to close the club early without any reference or contact with the chess club. Attempts were made to rearrange the fixture at any venue including the away team's club room, but Longbridge were unable to provide any dates. We regret that this incident occurred and apologise to Longbridge and any other teams that may be affected by this unfortunate result.
