Brighton's New Venue

I accompanied our team as non playing captain to Brighton's new venue. We were very pleasantly welcomed to the sparkly new playing area at the Queens Hotel. Thank you for all the hospitality very nice although their team was not so generous over the board. All the games were hard fought and I felt we had the better of the two draws though a draw always looked the most likely outcome. It was great to see both teams led on Board 1 by Sussex Junior Chess stalwarts.
