An interesting example of the handicap system. Poole brought a star studded team to Highcliffe, but we only needed 1.5 points for a win. This was achieved ,thanks to a win by Andy on board 3 playing black and a dogged draw by John on board 6. The rest of us enjoyed a hard fought workout prior to the league season starting.
