A tightly fought and close match as confirmed by the score. James Forster played well to win for Southbourne A , then there two quick draws on the top 2 boards. Wimborne's best chance came on bottom board but good defending by Jon Catchpole and perhaps a missed opportunity by Graham Willetts in a King and pawn ending meant that Southbourne A secured the win.
