A good result for Southbourne and a nice win by James Forster on board 4. Top board position became blocked very early on and a draw seemed to be the only fair result along with the result on board 3. Bruce tried hard to win on board 2 but the more he tried the worse his position became. A draw was agreed when perhaps Bruce was losing but it secured Southbourne the match. As always good friendly hospitality from the Highcliffe club.
