An exciting evening over the board as Poole raced to 1-0 win courtesy of another win from Jamie which Tony followed up with an accurate end game to make it 2-0. However a solid game from Dennis Russell took full advantage of piece advantage to close out a deserved win, 1-2. Susan Kaegler wisely refused the offer of a draw from Chris to win a pawn and swap rooks off to gain the win and overall draw for Highcliffe. A fair result on the night and as always a pleasure to be at Highcliffe and thanks for your hospitality.
