Board 1 was a tight affair and a well earned draw against all expectations for David Lewis, Board 2 was blundered away from a winning position to show what one slip of concentration can do. Board three was overpowered and the clock ran down but the end result was never in doubt board 4 was a revenge win for the loss at home for David Pawley. All in all a good nights chess against evenly matched opponents and they deserved the points for tenacity on board 1. Although I suspect Wimborne have some secret external assistance as every time we visit it rains!!!!
