Our normal playing room was unavailable and we had to accept playing in the bar area and compete with a skittles match and poor light conditions. I will endeavour to ensure this doesn't happen again and apologies to all the players involved. Allan Pleasants hadn't recovered from being ill all week and decided not to play. Geoff Searing stepped in to play instead.. The match was incredibly close on all boards and each game was long and hard fought over, but eventually decided by the result on the bottom board. Well done to Poole for winning the match, but also to the Weymouth lads for putting up such stiff resistance,
