Boards 3 and 4 fizzled out. On board 2 Andrej, playing the black pieces for the fifth time in a row, blundered away a pawn and in desperation sacked an exchange. It was never likely to be successful. Ian hung on in an dreadful position for nearly 60 moves after I kept failing to find the move to dispatch him. Eventually I got there to tie the match.
