last night's match

A strong start for the newly formed Rooks team beating our Bishops with a complete Junior team. Dylan, Jack and Josh all succumbed early on with sound & positive chess from Mike,Graham and Steve. A welcome return for Andre after making his last appearance some 3 years ago. The game should have ended in a draw but a costly mistake cost allowing a pawn to Queen gave Andre the win - hard luck Joe. Well played Rooks and onwards and upwards for the Bishops.
