In a match that looked like Highcliffe should win comfortably it was far from it! First to finish was myself after finding a way to win despite it looking very in doubt toward the end, well played Tim! Next to finish Bruce beat Mihail with a stranglehold that ended with pawns that were too difficult to stop, board 3 looked to be going both ways at different points with 2 very open kings and 2 bishops for Peter vs Robert’s rook ended up with Peters king suddenly being totally safe thanks to some excellent defending and the game went to Peter, a very complicated endgame between Christian and Dave left Christian eventually squeezing out a win despite some scary time pressure. Thank you to New Milton for an excellent match!

Yes a good match and unfortunately I was an exchange down but thought I might of Rescued it in time trouble but Christian played well to win in the end . Thanks to Highcliffe
