an interesting match with Poole , with 2 juniors doing very well . Leo managed a good draw early on with nathaniel with a perpetual next Zander slaughtered Alan who was very depressed afterwards . John had a good game with Andy but lost on time my game with Joe was a marathon with chances on both sides with over 50 moves in 2.5 hours . We were the only pair playing in the chess room and Joe , nearly winning but gifted me a bishop . I did not have a clear win and we both had only 10 mins left . as the team had already lost I offered Joe a draw which he gladly accepted
