Before the match either team could leap up to finish second from the bottom of the table. On the night Purbeck proved the team capable of doing so and won convincingly. Despite finishing a convincing bottom of the table it was an enjoyable season and a pleasure to play the teams from Dorchester and Bournemouth as well as Purbeck.

I think the main thing to

I think the main thing to take from this is season is how nice it was to be playing over the board chess again and to be able meet people we haven't seen for two or more years. Thanks to Martin and the rest of the Ringwood team for a very pleasant evening and for giving us directions around the roadworks for the trip home. Unfortunately we took a wrong turn and ended up heading back to Ringwood on the A35! Fortunately the road wasn't actually shut that night so we were able to go straight home.
