Board 3 was first to finish and Eddie had a comfortable position which he gradually improved until black was forced to resign. On board 1 was an exciting 2 knights defence where black sacrifices a pawn for development. White managed to fight off the attack to win the exchange but black retained 2 bishops which were very strong so a draw was agreed, I did not see much of board 4 but a draw was agreed where seemed equal throughout. Board 2 was last to finish where from an equal position Geoff managed to win a pawn and then got behind blacks defences to force a win. A drawn match not effecting the top of table!
