A close match especially after there were relatively quick draws on board 3 then board 1 both seemingly following well known opening theoretical paths where there were not to many chances for black. Rob had an interesting game which went to an equal knight endgame an eventually a draw was agreed . Bruce played well to initially smother his opponent and then as the pieces came off the R and B endgame looked very good for him which he converted. RU
