A good match where boards 1 and 2 went the full distance. Unfortunately, John played his moves the wrong way around and lost his queen as a result. David and Nathaniel played out an interesting draw with David's strong passed pawn being neutralised. Michael blundered the exchange (and a pawn) but fought back well to creat a massive passed pawn on b7. Unfortunately he did not quite see how to exploit this particular advantage and soon allowed Peter to create his own chances on the kingside which won him the game. Bill was always better in his game but had to play patiently to win in the endgame. Well played the Wimborne B team - deserved winners.
