For over 2 hours this was a closely fought tense match in which Ringwood seemed to be edging it. Bruce had won a pawn on board 1 but Kevin was looking to win it back. I was in trouble on board 2 after Peter surprised me with a new move in a variation we had contested quite a few times before - if you count liChess games that is! I was clearly worse and trying to limit the damage. David had sacced an exchange on board 3 for an attack which was interesting and board 4 was unclear. Fortunately for us, all 4 boards went our way. Both Kevin and Peter blundered a piece on boards 1 and 2 and on 3 and 4 both David's and Madison's attacked crashed through to give us a, very fortunate 4-0 win. Terribly hard on Ringwood who will bounce back I am sure!
