We came to play Poole B hoping to win and with higher ratings on all boards should have been favourites ( I would like to mention Spurs v Cherries recently ! ) Board 4 was first to finish in a very safe draw. Allan seemed to have a slight plus but could not find a plan to break through so a draw was taken ( Allan probably thought correctly that I was winning) I thought Eddie was better against Martin when I last looked but did not find out that Eddie had lost until my match had finished. My match against Sergio started very slowly but suddenly burst into life with both attacking on kingside. I managed to miss many winning lines and even after saccing rook for nothing could have drawn with a repetition but panic sometimes sets in. Well done to Sergio for staying calmer with everyone watching and finding the winning moves. Also well done to the Div 1 surprise package who could still win the league.
