Dennis: “It was a tightly contested match. Board 4 was won quickly and convincingly by Steve, who won a piece very early. I was a piece up and quite comfortably winning, but both boards 2 and 3 were much closer affairs. After the dust settled, board 2 was a draw, femi was horrifically lost and I was playing multiple pieces vs Queen but slowly losing. Femi was incredibly fortunate to be stalemated and my opponent avoided my stalemate trap to end the match as a draw”
