Honours even tonight as two well matched teams played a re-arranged fixture from last year. Board 1 went to Highcliffe with a very well played match from Madison who got a pawn up and converted well. Boards 2 and 3 were both draws, the computer will no doubt tell us where we could have got the full point but in the end points were shared. This left board 4 as the last to finish and experience triumphed over youth with a very good win for John against the ever improving Thomas. Thanks to Highcliffe for a match played in a great spirit. Not long to wait for the return fixture scheduled for next Monday.
