Another fun evening of chess Rob (the captain ) tried to sabotage us by sending Tom to Bournemouth, then for some reason thought a roast dinner was more important. John and I agreed our annual draw , we looked with envious eyes at the thrilling game on board 1 . They seemed to be playing a different game to us. A breathless Tom after racing across Bournemouth secured a draw with Brian, so 2-1 Southbourne. No pressure for Russ and Adam. Russ playing his fourth generation of Ursell’s finds them keep getting stronger, finally succumbing to time pressure so 2-2. Funny old game ! RU
