4 very close games in our penultimate match of the season saw Wimborne victorious. Susan and Alan were first to finish with a well battled draw agreed. Ron gave up a knight for 2 pawns, and Simon battled well to win a further 2 pawns and win. Andrew and John played a very aggressive Rousseau gambit with both Kings exposed - it was never to be a draw. Andrew found a decisive move to win. Neil and John were last to finish, both in tight time trouble, Neil made a fatal mistake with just 30 seconds on the clock. An exciting match, in which Wimborne were worthy winners.
