Wimborne were clearly on a mission to avoid a second defeat, bringing a very strong team all the way across Dorset in terrible weather. Four excellent games finished with the honours shared. Great to have Bruce back, not often he is outgraded ! Well done Wimborne always fun to play you best RU

Welcome to our returning

Welcome to our returning player David Onley who had a good game against Bruce but could not quite find the win after resourceful defence by Bruce. On 2 James played a steady game and once he was allowed to release his bishops won comfortably against Ian who kept up his 100% record ! Board 3 was a close affair and resulted in a draw. Board 4 was very exciting and could have gone either way but Eddie managed to hold it together after being told he had to win !! Thanks to Highcliffe for another friendly battle.
