A very closely fought match. Board 4 was first to finish with a very level position. On board 2 black was defending a slightly difficult position but found keeping king in the middle was safest and both players agreed a draw before the fireworks began. On board 3 Mark was under pressure after retreating his knight but managed to see off most of the danger and a draw was agreed. The best game and last to finish was between David and Mike on top board. David had all the threats and looked to have the advantage and won a pawn but ended up in a rook and opposite colour bishop ending which Mike expertly held. So a fair result overall.
