We arrived with 4 and a reserve (me) Bruce felt ill and stepped down so a late reshuffle was necessary. Board 1 Mark v James always going to be a close affair, board 2 Bill v Mads board 3 Eddie v Me board 4 Steve v Tim. Myself and Eddie both felt a bit rough so a quick draw agreed, closely followed by Steve and Tim. So left to the top two boards. Bill and Mads played an excellent game finally drawing. So all on board 1 . James very much the form player fought a very tough match eventually winning with an extra pawn with rook and knight each. Highcliffe prevailed thank you Wimborne best regards RU
