Please note this Game was played Thursday 19th January at Dorchester Thank you Dorchester for Hosting this game - Wimborne had 200 point advantage to begin Eddie Barker had to deal with a Stonewall type of defence where Black position and attack on the White kings position looked stronger than it actually was. Peter's Game petered out ( no pun intended ) to draw early . My game against Steve was interesting where he expertly played the Scandanavian and had a great game all the pressure for the Pawn sac and many threats , but Black managed to wriggle out the tight grip he had on the entire game . John Bowley had to contend with the English Opending and in a complicated midde game mounting a stong attack on Whites King which initially wont the exchange and finally a Piece
