Thanks Ringwood for allowing the re scheduling of this Match A hard fought match where Wimborne edged out Ringwood on the last game to finish Niall vs Peter . A very nasty Rook pin on the King causing material loss. It was complex position where both sides looked to have chances . Boards 3& 4 were even steven with not much being given away with both games petering out to a draw fairly early Board 2 was a bit more lively with an Exchange down at one point for Nathaniel , but he clawed it back

Very happy to get the match played despite the result :-) I corrected the Ringwood players on board 1 and 2, there was a late substitution needed. It was a good night of chess played in a pretty warm and humid venue. Peter played well to beat Richard who has had a great season. All the other games were drawn, but the Ringwood players should be pleased with their performances as they were all out graded. A good season overall and a good match to finish it.
