A fantastic fixture with drama from all sides. New Milton were a delight to host and very high levels of chess were played. On board 1 I was able to win after my opponent generously exchanged a piece for a pawn. On board 2 Bryan played to the bitter end unfortunately for us it was not to be. On board 3 congratulations are in order for Mr. Beasant as I am told that this game it a milestone for his return to form in winning the game against Roger. Finally on board 4 a fast paced dramatic match between Rachel and Dan where Dan was able to obtain his first victory for our team! A thoroughly enjoyable evening, I look forward to our return fixture with much excitment. Regards Thomas
