An enjoyable evening as ever at Highcliffe. Ross gained an early advantage and capitalised well. Rachel found herself under a strong counter attack having previously gaimed the advantage a pawn up. John let a win slip to a clear draw, which Mike then somehow contrived to let slip in return. On board 1, a tight game wit increasing pressure from White uisng greater freedom of movemnet with the bishops to set up a rook and pawn endingtrwo pawns to the good.
