Thank you Wimborne for hosting a good night's chess. All boards were competitive, hard fought. Board two finished first, a draw agreed after a good, open contest. Later in the evening, boards one and three came to the same conclusion. On four, I had been struggling to stay in the game since about 7.50 pm, kept up a defence of sorts that lasted to the evening close, Mark seeing Wimborne to a well-earned victory.
