The evening didn't start well

The evening didn't start well, with our ever-reliable Board 2 going AWOL. Board 1 was a repeat of a recent Division 1 pairing and a truce was called early on. On Board 3 Steve fell into an opening trap and was never able to recover. The initiative on Board 4 seemed to pass back and forth with the agreement of a draw in a complicated position seeming a fair result. Many thanks to Weymouth for an enjoyable fixture.
