Weymouth C first match in Div

Weymouth C first match in Div 3 and Poole sent a strong team to welcome us. We fielded a team that had two new players - Ken and Mike so this was a tough start for them. The match started badly with Andre getting smashed by his 12 year old opponent. Mike had his opponent under pressure on the kingside, but overlooked a move and lost the initative. Ken had a good game on board three and won comfortably, whilst Malcolm was outplayed on top board. Well done to Poole and good luck for the rest of the season.
