This was another great night

This was another great night of chess ,Wimborne turned up with 5 highly motivated players so the 18 players available were divided up to keep the ratings as close as possible. Dan and Tim got us off to a fine start racing into a 2-0 lead.The other games were keenly contested and Highcliffe took control. Board 7 proved very interesting, Andy raced back from Heathrow and his game v Susan was delayed. When all the other games were finished it became obvious that their clock had been incorrectly set up and could easily have gone on till 11.00! A draw was agreed as the result was already decided. A great night was had by all. Best RU
