Some good games overall with Wimborne sending out 2 Juniors to play what we thought were Poole Juniors - Poole looked a bit top heavy on the Grading but the 1st 3 boards were even stevens 1.5 each with Nathaniel getting a good draw on 2 and Ian winning on 1 Peter Wilcox carried on his miserable run in the Summer League . Highlight of the night for Wimborne was a Junior winning on Board 10 - The 1st of its kind , well played Barnaby . The last game to finish was Stuart Versus Tim . A hard watch with Tim pushing up 2 passed pawns supported by knight and King , with Stuart defending with Rook and king , both players with 15 sec increments . Unfortunately for Tim , Stuart defended well and Tim ran out of gas . Thanks Poole for turning out , it was an enjoyable evening at the end with a good chit chat on how England never won the Footy ( again )
