A deserved win for Swinton. Only near the end of some games was it noticed that all the clocks had been set incorrectly to program 3 (a simple 1 hour each) so the 15 second increments were not added. Slightly annoying as our board 5 lost on time and the agreed draws on boards 1 and 2 were influenced by the lack of time (down to last few minutes) for all 4 players. Had the increments been added correctly the board 5 game would have lasted longer and the time pressure would have been reduced for boards 1 and 2. Quite happy for the result to stay at 4-1 to Swinton but hopefully the clocks will be set correctly for the next Swinton home match.
