Two games were played last night in the ladder. Firstly Dick, playing white ,challenged but lost to Connor, so no change in their places, but in the other game Alan fought off a challenge from Peter Eales by forcing a draw to remain on top of the ladder. As a result of the draw, Peter moved up to second place on the ladder. There are seven more weeks before the current ladder finishes . Games can be played up to and including Tuesday 12th Rob Sims
