Board 3 for Hamble was Milan Bennett making his debut in league chess. A very impressive start indicating an estimated rating of 1400. Board 1 ended King versus King and on board 2 Simon was ground down by Martin. Hamble defaulted the last 2 boards after a horrendous day of traffic delays in Winchester and Southampton district due to a fatal accident in Southampton. Hamble are also missing John Wikinson who is in hospital. We all wish John a speedy recovery..
