Result agreed by Southampton Another match between Ringwood and Southampton teams that could have gone either way. On this occasion all the games were decisive with Ringwood taking the lead by winning on board 5 and Southampton winning board 4 to square things, Ringwood then again took the lead by winning on board 2 before Southampton struck back by winning on board 3 to make it two all. On board 1 the game looked even with both players having only a couple of minutes left on their clocks. Anything can happen in such situations and Bruce took advantage of a blunder to win the match.
