What a match! Poulton fielded a full strength side except for Peter Garrett,thankfully Ben's dad stepped in in Peter's absence which was down partly to me. So to the match first to finish was Oleg who won in good style. Ben then had a brilliant tactical game which he won. Then the wheels started to come off Paul and Michael both lost making it 2 2. Simon won giving us the edge 3 2. Kitt won a great game and Barry's game was drawn. Therefore 3.5 each with my game versus Phil being the last game to finish. In a time scramble and difficult position I managed to squeeze a win bringing a very tight victory to Poulton. Well played Phil and well played Lytham pulsating league chess at it's best.
