Preston 2 came with a strong team, out grading Poulton on most boards and it showed in the result. Looking round during the night, Poulton never looked like winning a game on any board, as Preston were either material up or postionally better! So to get three draws (could have been four) was a testament to how hard the Poulton players fought for their draws. Well done to the Preston 2 on winning and to Peter on board one taking my draw offer in a drawn position when I had only 26 seconds left!
