Please note. On board 1, black (andrew wathen) achieved legal checkmate. This is not disputed by any player or spectator. However, Wathen then, mistakenly, thought he had made a mistake in declaring that and made an illegal move for his opponent taking him out of checkmate and then the game carried on! Several moves later Wathen (black) then resigned. However, a short time later, Wathen then realised he was mistaken in carrying on earlier (as it was in fact checkmate)! This caused much discussion!
