Both Board 4s
Just as the match was starting, we were informed by the Tournament Controller that our new player on Board 4 following his win on 16/10 had overnight been allocated a P-rating of 1776, which seems excessive and out of sync with our current club play.
For the home side, the original Board 4 failed to appear and was replaced as above. Roger as captain for the home side drew me aside and explained this, and we raised no objection and neither of us wished to stop and re-start the match to re-arrange the board order. The Board 4 match was exceptionally close and it seemed both players were evenly matched.
